Kingsway Scientific & Industrial Instruments Inc. was established in Edmonton in 1969 as Kingsway Aviation & Industrial Instruments Ltd. The original company was involved in the repair and calibration of panel instrumentation used in aircraft, and was recognized and approved by Transport Canada as a supplier of these services. As a result of the expertise required in the Aviation field, Kingsway became well known for providing top-notch repair and calibration services for virtually every type of electrical/electronic instrument available today.

In addition to providing repair and calibration services, Kingsway became a product distribution channel for a wide variety of products including Panel Meters, CT's, PT's, Multimeters, Transducers, Protection Relays, Insulation Testers, etc….Kingsway Aviation changed hands in February of 2001 with an accompanying name change to Kingsway Scientific & Industrial Instruments Inc., and has not only maintained the high level of expertise that previously existed, but has built on it.

Today, Kingsway provides sales, service and calibration capabilities second to none in the industry, boasting over 100 years of combined technical experience. We have built distributorships with some of the most highly regarded companies in the world including Amprobe, Fluke, Crompton, Yokogawa, Kyoritsu, Hioki, Simpson Electric, Raytek and Shimpo, just to name a few. We maintain a Calibration and Certification Laboratory utilizing state-of- the-art Fluke Calibrators and Software, and are currently the only Certification House in Western Canada to own both a Fluke 5500A and a Fluke 5520A Calibrator, as well as a Fluke 8508A High Accuracy Reference Multimeter.
